The Cambridge 4th grade had a busy day visiting the Omaha Symphony and the Nebraska Capitol Building. Thank you Mrs Witt and Mrs Nanfito for making this trip possible. Also, a big thank you to Bill Kent for driving the bus! #TrojanWay

Despite weather forcing a couple of our activities to be dropped, we had a great (and tiring) quick trip to Eastern Nebraska with our 6th - 9th grade students. Thank you very much to the administrators for supporting our adventures, the community members who donated to make these activities possible, our families for entrusting your precious treasures to our care, and especially the staff and amazing bus drivers who made it all possible! I am grateful to work with such fantastic kids and adults. ~Mr Sawyer

The Zoo Trip participants will be arriving back in Cambridge around 4:30-4:45pm. Students that normally ride school transportation home after school will need to be picked up at school today.
The Omaha Symphony Field Trip for the 4th grade will proceed as schedule tomorrow.

We are going to proceed with the Zoo Trip today. The students will be leaving at noon to head directly to Omaha. Our travel plan is to remain on highways for the duration of the trip, with leeway to make a decision once we get close to Omaha about which route to take.

We are trying our best to allow this great opportunity for our 6th-9th graders to travel to Omaha for their zoo field trip. We are delaying the leave time until noon today to allow for safer travel. Please see our social media post for further context and information.

Family Game Night! March 20th. Please register in advance! Supper, hot dogs & chips, will be provided. PreK thru 5th grade.

The public is invited to a community forum on Thursday, March 6th to facility updates. New options and an explanation of the financial impact to the public will be presented.

We are still proceeding with the 6th-9th grade zoo trip tomorrow (3/5/25). The students will now leave at 9am tomorrow and forgo the stop and the Homestead Monument in Beatrice. If things change and we need to cancel, that decIsion will be made by 7am on Wednesday morning.

Here are the Students of the Week as well as some of the #TrojanWay recipients for last week and this week!
