Senior Spotlight of the Week!

The gifts for the Star Tree are rolling in! The official deadline is Wednesday, but we aren't delivering until Friday, so if you're still waiting on something, we can take gifts until noon on Friday (but please let Genny Kubik know you will be bringing things in later). For those receiving gifts, we will be delivering on Friday, beginning about 1:30. Results from the meet in Cozad yesterday: Entertainment speaking: Jensyn Weiss 2nd place. Kate Salberg 5th Informative Speaking: Reid Huxoll 2nd OID: Jensyn Weiss, Colton Gross, Irmina Cramer and Kate Salberg: 5th Humorous Prose: Lydia McGowen 6th These were our medalists. However ALL of the speakers did an excellent job at a big meet!!

Thank you to the awesome students and Community members who braved the cold and ice this morning to lay Christmas Wreaths on veterans graves this morning. The Wreaths Across America Program is amazing and we are lucky to be able to honor our veterans.

Due to the slick road conditions, there will be no youth basketball today.

Mrs Witt’s homeroom and 4th Grade got together as Trojan Buddies.  They enjoyed playing Chess and singing Christmas Carols. #TrojanWay

🎉 Exploring Spanish Traditions! 🇪🇸

Our Spanish class had a fun cultural lesson this week as they learned about the unique Spanish holiday tradition of “Uncle Popping” — Tió de Nadal, a festive custom where families “feed” a friendly log (El Tió) and then tap it so it “pops” out gifts and treats!

We love seeing our Trojans expand their global understanding through language and culture! 🧡🖤

Retired Two Star Gen Trulan Eyre. He was an F16 fighter pilot, Desert Storm Vet., and a retired Delta commercial pilot. He presented to some of Mr. Reaves middle school and high school classes today.
